To get in on the action

LINGOs member agencies should post messages to the eLearning Global Giveback Group on LinkedIn regarding course needs (separate post for each course), with specifics about their topic, objectives, audience, specifications regarding authoring tools, whether the volunteer can use the course in a portfolio, and the timeframe for development. Please be sure that your LinkedIn profile includes information about your agency (link to the agency LinkedIn profile where one exists).

Courses developed in 2011 on a volunteer basis for LINGOs member agencies submitted by December 16, 2011 are eligible for the competition.

Judging

Member agencies submit courses developed by volunteers into the competition and provided a first round of judging on ten criteria. The top courses in each category are then sent to an international panel of seven eLearning experts. The international panel of judges reviews each of the top courses on eight criteria and selects the top courses from each of the four categories, an enterprise winner and an individual or private group winner for each category.

The Global Giveback has allowed us to better meet the learning needs of our staff working in remote areas with highly demanded courses on the most pressing needs.
